Lena runs a bed & breakfast somewhere in Västergötland together with her two adult sons, Åke and Håkan, who live at home. The eldest son, Jan-Erik, is home over the summer to help out, but his patience is severely tested by his resourceful but not so smart brothers.
Church elections are coming up. There is full support in the village and the dean is using all means to win the election using his own methods. Other topics discussed include practice driving, the Home Guard, dating and what really happens in the village when there is a power outage?
