    Superficially, Andor looks promising. It has a gritty quality, offering a more adult take on the Star Wars universe.

    It has decent actors too and at least for the first three episodes, the woke nonsense, I've come to associate with new Star Wars series, is largely absent.

    That said, what takes its place is, well, not a lot. Inertia is substituted for action and a meaningful story. Andor meanders about aimlessly. I was bored by the time I had reached episode two.
