He is a celebrated Bollywood filmmaker, writer, and director, renowned for creating some of the industry's memorable hits. Among his most acclaimed works are "Marte Dam Tak" (1987), "Jung Baaz" (1989), the patriotic blockbuster "Tirangaa" (1993), the hard-hitting "Krantiveer" (1994), and "Mrityudaata" (1997).

His daughter Jahan starred as the lead in "Krantiveer: The Revolution," the sequel to his iconic film "Krantiveer." His son Zoheb has assisted him in direction, while his other daughter, Shameem Khan, has carved her own niche as a talented costume designer in the industry.
