Thompson excels as a NSA agent with a skill at deduction who is working under an alias for Penny, referred to as her work husband. At the same time, shw tries to have a normal home life, telling oblivious husband Moses thst she works for a puzzle company, which is kind of true. They have a daughter and son to raise, and are baffled when they find the boy has a stash of thousands of dollars in a shoebox in his room. Other domestic problems include the reliable cliche of Moses' important client is coming for dinner and Thompson has been too bust chasing killers to prepare it!
