Kingdom 3: The Flame of Destiny (2023) continues the story from the first two films but shifts focus, dedicating much of the runtime to Eisei’s past rather than Shin’s development. While the foundation of the story is strong, this choice causes some confusion about the main character’s role, and Shin’s six months of training are noticeably absent. This impacts the film’s pacing and weakens the connection viewers might have with Shin as the protagonist.
