80's buddy cop movie, updated.
This reminds me a lot of buddy cop movies from the 80s or Hobbs and Shaw. But this movie also has a functioning dysfunctional dynamic between the main characters. A bad guy that works, phenomenal casting, and also great selection of music. It's simply a good enough time and I'm happy that this got made. It's great to see Dave doing something like this and he gets some room to breathe. Jason compliments him very well and the two of them have a natural enough flow. I highly recommend this movie and I enjoyed it a lot.
