Joe Satriani was born on July 15, 1956 in Long Island, New York, USA. He is married to Rubina Satriani. They have one child.

Guitarist. Considered by many one of the greatest guitar player of all time. He gave guitar teaching lessons to such future rock notables as Kirk Hammett of Metallica, Larry Lalonde of Primus, David Bryson of Counting Crows and, most specially,Steve Vai.
