When I heard about Mandaar being based on Macbeth,I was highly excited yet highly skeptical at the same time.Because first,executing an adaptation properly isn't everybody's cup of tea and second,Mandaar is the debut project of Anirban Bhattacharya.But after finally finishing Mandaar yesterday,I must admit that I am awestruck.This was a highly anticipated series and like me,perhaps everybody was in doubt about whether Anirban Bhattacharya is going to deliver or not.But he did,and he did that in such a way that Mandaar will be considered a landmark in the Bengali film industry,not just as one o...read the rest
