Fatima learns from Dr. Wahid Farid that her husband left her a letter before his death, informing her that he intends to commit suicide. When he goes to Khorshid Bey's house, he is surprised that he is not dead and threatens him with a gun. Wahid pulls out his gun and kills his lover's husband.
