In an attempt to bring the curated playlists found on its music streaming app to life, Beats Music has partnered with Revolt TV to air a 24-hour concert called “It Was A Good Day, Beats Music Presents: The Live 90’s Hip Hop Playlist.” The special, which includes footage of performances filmed during the 2014 Grammy weekend during which Beats Music was launched, will begin airing at 6 a.m. (ET) on Sunday, April 20 and continue through 6 a.m. the following morning. Coinciding with the special’s title, the program will feature performances from artists like Dr. Dre, Eminem, Nas, Ice Cube and Mase. REVOLT owner Sean Combs, also known as Puff Daddy, also headlines the concert. Additional performances include artists like Cypress Hill, Busta Rhymes, Method Man & Redman, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Geto Boys, Souls of Mischief, and Fatlipl & Slimkid3 (formerly of The Pharcyde).
