An over-the-top, perfectionistic mom obsessed with her weight, hosts an 18th birthday party for her daughter and friends. She feeds them a funky shrimp salad (sorry kids), gives terrible college advice (Oops!), and relates to them on a whole new level (Really?). But only because she desperately wants quality time with her daughter before she leaves for college. Will she sabotage their relationship to get what she wants?From breakout filmmaker/writer/actor Niki Sterner, comes the uproarious short film Sweet Body. Crafted by a diverse cast and crew hailing from more than six different nationalities, our aim is to infuse a woman's perspective into the narrative. Sweet Body explores the mental health challenges associated with body image and excessive exercise, while also emphasizing the significance of open and clear communication within families.
