Biography

Josh Futcher is a SAG-E, Los Angeles based, Australian actor, born on the Gold Coast. Josh has built a steady international career spanning 20 years. His recent credits include roles on 'Good Trouble' for ABC, 'For All Mankind' on AppleTV, and upcoming feature 'the Wildman of Shaggy Creek'. Josh recently won the Best Actor award at the Sydney Indie Short Festival for his role in 'Dom Bangs a Rockette'. He's also known for his recurring role as "Spike" on the hit show "Conspiracy 365" working alongside Harrison Gilbertson (Need for Speed, Fallen). He has worked with Vinnie Jones and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in the US production of "The Condemned", and Claire Forlani in the Stephen King series "Nightmares & Dreamscapes".

Josh had a comedic guest role in the final episode of the Australian Netflix TV show "Rostered On". He starred as an actor hired to play a gunman to rob the store and scare all the workers. His performance was a fan favorite and provided a dramatic climax to the season.

Josh moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2007 to study acting at the Victorian College of Arts and then worked in theatre for many years, having played in some of the biggest theaters in Australia and New Zealand. He then turned his focus to film and TV and worked steadily in many films, shows and commercials. His lead role in the film Répetez S'il-Vous-Plait was instrumental in the film winning the Silver Prize at the Super8 competition at "Cannes Film Festival" in 2018.
