(Inspired by Alexandra Bracken's "The Darkest Minds") It's been a few months since the government has begun placing the kids who survived IAAN, a disease that killed 98% of America's child population, into rehabilitation camps around the country. Sorted into five color classifications- green (enhanced intelligence), blue (telekinesis), yellow (electrokinesis), red (pyrokinesis), and orange (mind control) - the children are locked in, their past lives stripped away from them and replaced by blank walls and harsh routine. Luke, a blue, teams up with his room to put their breakout plan in place after weeks of planning, even despite the potentially deadly consequences.
