Les Malheurs d'Orson Welles reveals the ravages of time on the print of Too Much Johnson , the first feature film Orson Welles shot in 1938, three years before Citizen Kane , his first official feature film. By selecting and slowing down the most damaged parts of the American filmmaker's film, I managed to create an object with abstract forms and, paradoxically, give a second life to a major work of art.
