Les Malheurs d'Alice Guy shows the ravages of time on the copy of Une héroïne de quatre ans that Alice Guy made in 1907. By isolating and slowing down the most damaged parts of the copy of this film by one of the pioneers of cinema, I managed to create an object with abstract forms and, insidiously, to give another life to a leading work of art.
