Overview

Pook Land is the place where we were all born — and the place none of us ever wishes to return to. Pook Land is a hospital. mother has something growing inside her stomach, and she is taken to the hospital. father and his daughter are forced to wait in the waiting area before they are able to visit her. Throughout the play, the daughter is exposed to all the sick and tragic souls living within Pook Land. The young girl must make her way through them in order to reach her mother and stop time from hurting her. She enters a world of fantasy and becomes lost within the corridors of her imagination. But when she finally reaches her, she discovers that her mother is no longer the same woman she once knew, and the fantasy world of Pook Land has long since transformed from a warm and comforting place into an endless nightmare, faced against an unbearable reality that has no end.
