Yukiko has passed her university entrance exams and her relationship with her boyfriend Koji is going well. Yukiko's life changes drastically when her father suddenly dies in a car crash. To ease the grief, Koji invites her on a trip and thanks to the change of the environment, Yukiko starts feeling better. Unexpectedly, their car breaks down in the mountains and there is no cell phone reception. The couple, seeking help find themselves at the desolate village called Magata.
