After meeting with a dozen of gangsters, Will Parker will try to define the essence of the "Life", in the streets of New York. The task seems easy to fulfill, but, separating truth form fiction becomes harder, as he tries to understand the real nature of a gangster. One of them, in particular, becomes the protagonist of the stories told on the camera. As Parker is investigating the testimony of a murder and a revenge, past stories of violence and survival will surface.
