Overview

Khalish's parents want her to take over Madrasah Mujahidah, but she refuses because she has her own dream of becoming a Sharia lawyer and championing women's empowerment. Fearful of Khalish's (played by Mimi Lana) modern thinking, her parents decide to marry her off to the son of their close friend, Emir (played by Zul Ariffin). Although Emir is initially reluctant, he goes through with the marriage because he is an obedient son to his mother. After 4 years of marriage, Emir finally gains Khalish's trust and love, and they are expecting their firstborn child. However, Khalish later discovers that Emir actually has a secret lover named Seira (played by Siti Hariesa).
