José Bruguera is a discreet yet consistently present actor in the French audiovisual landscape from the 1960s to the 1980s. He became noticeable thanks to his solid presence in numerous television dramas, often in secondary but memorable roles. The public mainly knows him for La Demoiselle d’Avignon in 1972, a series that later became a cult classic. He then appeared in Commissaire Moulin between 1974 and 1976, where he portrayed authoritative characters. He can also be seen in Jo Gaillard, another emblematic production of the era. His acting, sober and precise, frequently led him to roles as policemen, civil servants, or institutional figures. He also took part in several TV films and ORTF productions.
