Ro-eum and Moo-young have extremely opposite characteristics. The two meet in a case unveiled after 10 years. Ro-eum was falsely accused of murder, and Moo-young is the lawyer of the real criminal. After Ro-eum is released from prison, she earns money by doing what she is best at - fraud. However, Moo-young is nothing but warm and kind to her and always has her back in dangerous situations. Moo-young sees the pain hidden behind Ro-eum's past and does not give up on helping her and teaching her empathy.

The drama fell short of its promising premise, stumbling through a maze of poorly executed plotlines and lackluster character development. It didn't take more than a few episodes, after the first couple of cases, to show its cracks, the narrative was disjointed, as if the writers couldn't decide which direction to take. Once the main case with Kyung Ja & Jay was brought to the front, the story went haywire. The drama failed to maintain a cohesive storyline after that.
