"The Defects" is yet another creative crime action thriller from South Korea.

The story revolves around an illicit baby factory, where children are genetically engineered to meet the high expectations of ultra-wealthy parents who bid to purchase them in an auction. Those children who don't meet the grade can be returned by their parents under warranty, like a defective product, and can then be "disposed of".
