“Love in the Moonlight“ is set in the 1960s, but in contrast to “Shine“, which displays Thailand's real situation in the same era, the political background of LITM is fictitious. It is an example of high-quality “BL lakorns“, and some of the writers also wrote the scripts of the superb “To Sir, with Love“ and “Laws of Attraction“.
