Abdullah Khan is a British filmmaker and founder of Rosebud Films. A BFI Academy alumnus, Khan began his career as a runner on productions including 1917, Star Wars, and Fast & Furious, before joining Neal Street Productions, where he worked as an assistant across the development and production of film, theatre and television. In 2022, Khan was named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
As a writer-director, his films include Find the Light (2022) starring George MacKay; Path to Ecstasy (2023) starring Olivier Award winner Michael Jibson, alongside Louis Serkis and Screening Room (2025), filmed at London’s iconic Prince Charles Cinema. His work has screened internationally and at BIFA-qualifying festivals across the UK and abroad.
His work to date blends intimate emotional realism with heightened subjectivity and exploring themes of memory, displacement and the search for transcendence.
