Things happen in life, sometimes only a comment made to us, that shape and color our whole life. In my own life, I remember seminal moments, people, that made a difference in the way I lived and the decisions I made. Ode to My Father is an epic story of how one man's life was colored by just such a significant event. Duk-soo, running with his family at the beginning of the Korean War, loses his sister.
