Talk about getting the wrong end of the baton? Rex Harrison is the quick-witted but rather insufferable "Sir Alfred". A renowned orchestral conductor who is married to the glamorous "Daphne" (Linda Darnell). Now their marriage is all going swimmingly until his he starts to get it into his head, after a trip to Europe, that she is having an affair with his secretary "Tony" (Kurt Kreuger) who is, admittedly, a great deal younger and more handsome than him.
