It is not an illustrative film, it is a film about the fragment that reveals itself... reappears... a film based on the superimposition of images... a film in perpetual motion, nothing stops... It is a film about the sensuality which emerges from the poems... images of a moving matter where fantasies can slip in. It is a film about the poetry of love, the violence of passions, the tears... Sappho tender and violent, philosopher and poet... Sappho who comes back to us, present, beyond the 2700 years that separate us.
