Lourdes “Lulu” Madera was crowned Miss North Carolina USA in August 2025 and will represent North Carolina at the Miss USA 2025 pageant in Reno, Nevada. Lourdes, who lives in Miami, first competed at Miss New Jersey USA 2013 where she won the Miss Photogenic award. She also competed at both the Miss New Jersey USA and Miss Florida USA pageants this year.
