**Another terrible adaptation that is surprisingly entertaining.**

Don't even try to make sense of the story because the writer clearly didn't care less. The plot just jumps to places without a clear explanation, and most of the character decisions are brain-dead. They completely ignored everything from the short story except the idea of children in cornfields. The only redeeming qualities is that the main girl put her heart into the role, the concept of abused children finding comfort in a supernatural creature in a cornfield could have worked, and the 70s setting was visually interesting ...read the rest
