Armenian "Aram" (Yianni Katsifas) is walked home by his American friend "Jason" (Robert Walker Jeffrey) whom he invites in for a glass of cognac. The couple - on their first date - are soon lovers, but what now ensues is a masterly indictment of a lack of communication that sees one satisfied and one distinctly not. Will the relationship survive? The monochrome photography provides for some intimacy but to be honest it felt a little prurient watching their dynamic dissipate in front of my eyes to no great purpose and with a surprising lack of energy.
