A lonely 70-year-old man, an eccentric artist from Odessa, Sir Pinkhus, dreams to have grandchildren. But he even does not have children. Obviously first he needs to have a son to realize a dream about having a grandson. The old man has friends at the orphanage. They choose a guy Arkasha for the role of son.
